01    THE EXPERIENCE

Some places stay
with you forever.

A beach alive with king penguins. Mountains catching the first light. A seal pup taking its first breath.

South Georgia is one of the most remarkable places I have ever visited. Together with the Falklands, it offers wild coastlines, extraordinary seabirds, and days that make you forget everything back home.

Join us for an expedition shaped around wildlife, photography, and time to take it all in. Bring your camera, your partner, or simply your curiosity.

THE KING PENGUINS

A world of
their own.

First, you see the whole colony: king penguins filling the beach beneath snow-covered mountains. Then the individual stories emerge. A pair calling. A chick waiting. A small procession making its way through the snow.

There is something to notice in every direction, whether you are composing a photograph or simply watching. This is a place worth giving your full attention.

IN OUR GUESTS’ WORDS

The journey through our guests’ eyes.

"I’m not a photographer, but Roie taught me to see further. South Georgia’s wild, mountainous islands and exceptional wildlife surpassed everything we imagined. Absolutely worth the journey."

A NOTE FROM ROIE

In 2026, 82 travelers joined us for 17 days aboard Magellan Explorer. We watched elephant seal pups being born, walked beside vast penguin colonies, and counted around 400 whales over the voyage.

What stays with me is the early mornings, the excitement on the beach, and the people who shared it. I would love for you to join the next one.

A photographer’s eye.
An explorer’s curiosity.

With Roie and the PhotoTeva team, you can develop your photography or enjoy the wildlife at your own pace. You do not need a long lens to belong here.
